Right Seats, Right People: Great companies know where their “bus” is heading, design the right seats for the bus, then find the right people for those seats.

Many sales people are hired for their industry experience, contacts they know, or sparkling personality. Many times, they had a track record of results in a previous company. How well does this predict their success on your team? What is your track record of hiring and retaining “A”players on your team?

Learn how to define the roles in your company based on the results you need to achieve, clearly define the outcomes expected for those roles, then recruit the people who have the best skills, abilities and who also match the company’s core values.

For sales leaders, this means clearly defining:
• Your sales objectives that align with your core customers.
• The sale roles to achieve those objectives.
• The measurable activities and outcomes that are expected for the roles – metrics and KPIs.
• The profile of the people that can succeed in those roles.

The upfront work in designing the right seats and filling them with the right people will pay off ten-fold in increased results, lower turnover, and positive morale.

In this session, Glen will provide the knowledge, actionable steps and tools to transform your sales team into the best you’ve ever had; increasing productivity, moral and retention.

Glen is an authentic, charismatic and energizing CEO that brings positivity to any room he’s in. From humble beginnings working on an assembly line to public company CEO, Glen has learned from hard-won personal experience how to grow people, products, businesses, and himself. His relatable style, direct messages, and confidence of someone seen it all in business translates into inspiring and actionable value for anyone or any group he works with. His mission is to achieve his success by helping others realize their successes, whether in business, career, or life.

After climbing the ladder in the automotive industry from factory worker to test-driver to manager, Glen transformed his career and himself by putting himself through college to earn a marketing degree. He then dove into a career in marketing and sales, quickly earning a reputation for taking on challenging roles and growing revenue, customers, and teams. Quickly promoted into leadership, he helped grow a $400M private company through an IPO, international expansion and product diversification into a $2.4B company. He was then tapped to lead the turnaround of an ailing public company as COO and then CEO. Glen and his team took the company from multi-million-dollar losses to profitability and 40% growth in eighteen months. He has now dedicated his work to helping others grow their careers and companies as CEO of Apex North Business Coaching, and keynote speaker with Conversion-omics.

He is co-author of the book “Rock & Sand Premium Edition.” When not helping CEOs, Entrepreneurs and business leaders achieve their growth goals, he enjoys cycling, running and spending time with family & friends.
