This presentation will highlight what we know about resilience from a skill-based perspective. This presentation will have a combination of background information, live demonstration of techniques including examples, and opportunity to review a process that aligns motivation within organizations to promote resilience.
Participants will walk away with:
- Understanding what we know about resilience
- Strategies to facilitate resilience from a “skill-based” perspective, providing opportunities to refine current strategies
Russ Flaten, Ed.D, CMPC – Dr. Flaten has extensive experience in both training and facilitation with a wide variety of personnel within the business, sport, and military communities. In a consulting role, Russ often addresses multi-faceted situations with leadership teams to improve organizational alignment. He draws on his experience as a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC), family business advisor, and professor in sport and performance psychology. In a training role, Russ works with individuals on developing problem solving, communication, and organizational skills, confidence, character/strength development, and transitions in and out of their professions.
