How to get Top Performance from your Sales Team
Different organizations and different sales leaders gravitate to certain levers they believe will get top line results. It could be training, or incentives, or sales process discipline. Predictable top performance comes when a business looks at performance wholistically and addresses multiple factors that determine whether you get the kind of performance you want.
In this session, we’ll take a “behavioral engineering” approach to understanding why salespeople do or don’t do the things we know will get us sales results. We’ll examine six factors that are known to be foundational elements that managers need to understand and manage in order to achieve desired outcomes.
- Understand the application of behavioral engineering to sales performance management
- Understand the contextual levers that managers must control to influence behaviors
- Understand the internal factors in people and how to manage around them to make good hiring decisions and manage people up or out
